Peter Kools - Founder and President of Kools Consulting
Peter is the visionary and leader of Kools Consulting, a successful full service Internet application development firm in business since 1997. He is a technology expert in relational databases, web applications, terabyte scale analytics processing, product integration and software automation.
Peter was ADS chief architect at Akamai Technologies. Prior to the acquisition of acerno by Akamai, he was co-founder and CTO of acerno.com, having helped create this successful Internet ad network.
Prior to Akamai/acerno, Peter was CTO of Schoolpop, Engineering Vice President at Focalink Communications, an Internet advertising service provider and held positions at Sybase and Hewlett Packard. Throughout his career, Peter has provided part-time and full-time consulting services.
Recent solutions include use of KXEN in a modeling factory that automated model training, scoring and targeting, use of Aster Data nCluster for analytics processing and log data correlation solutions, and Perl combined with Mysql and nCluster for advertising performance data analysis solutions.
